Beta Terms

These terms cover your use of Deltix during the invite-only beta. Plain English; dev-tool focused. They'll be replaced by a proper Terms of Service in a later phase.

What this is

Deltix is software for validating mobile app UX — primarily, the question “can a user accomplish a flow in your app?” You record or describe a flow, and Deltix runs validations and surfaces findings about whether the task succeeded and where it broke down.

Automated actions

Deltix performs automated interactions inside your app under your direction — taps, gestures, text entry, navigation, dismissing dialogs, and other UI actions. These run on the local simulator or device the Deltix Agent is connected to.

You are responsible for:

Verifying that automated actions are appropriate for the testing environment you point Deltix at.
Ensuring you have authorization to make those changes — don't point Deltix at production data, third-party services, or accounts you don't own.
The state of your app and test data after a run.

Cost during beta

Beta access is free for invited users. We'll communicate by email before any change to access or terms takes effect.

Geographic scope

The beta is open to users primarily based in the United States or Canada. We aren't yet accepting EU/UK signups; visitors in those regions can join a waitlist on the landing page and we'll notify them when we expand.

What you agree to

By using Deltix, you agree:

You own or have permission to test the apps you register with us.
You won't use Deltix to test apps you don't have authorization to test.
You won't try to extract data belonging to other Deltix users, scrape our service, or interfere with the system.
You'll keep your account credentials secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
The Deltix Agent runs on your machine. You're responsible for the local environment — your simulator, device, and macOS configuration.
You'll follow the acceptable-use guidance in our Privacy & Data Handling notice (don't paste credentials, no PHI/FERPA/under-13 data, etc.).

What we don't promise

This is beta software:

The service may be unavailable or behave inconsistently. We're still building it.
We may change features without notice while we figure out what works.
Validation results are advisory. We don't guarantee they're accurate, complete, or stable run-to-run.
We may end the beta entirely or delete data after the retention periods listed in the privacy notice.

What you keep

Your apps, your specs, your data: yours. By using Deltix, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your data for the purpose of providing the service. That's the entire scope of the license.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate beta access if you violate these terms or use the service abusively. We'll tell you why.

Disclaimer of liability

This is a beta service provided as-is. We make no warranties of any kind — including no warranty of merchantability, no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose, no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and no guarantee that validation outputs are accurate or complete.

The Deltix Agent runs on your local machine; you control its execution environment. We're not responsible for damage to your local system, app data, or configuration arising from beta use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages — direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — arising from your use of Deltix during the beta. Bugs, missed regressions, downtime, false negatives in validation, false positives in self-heal — all on you to verify before relying on them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Material changes will be emailed to beta participants.
